From an early age, Matt wanted to become a priest. Deeply religious and staunchly Catholic, Matt studied hard in seminary, taught himself ancient languages and learned to use computers. His love of both technology and theology led him away from the priesthood, and he stopped his training at the level of deacon. Translation of ancient scripts for the local Diocese led to a moonlighting job for one of the parish's most prominent members. At least, that's all it was supposed to be. No one has seen nor heard from the dark-haired, dark-eyed, shy computer geek for awhile. Not since he called Cate out in the middle of a thunderstorm to pick up his duffel bag from the church .... |
